Our farm is a family endeavor which started as a commercial cattle operation (Ohmes Cattle Company) established in 1998 and grew into two subsidiaries (an industry leading miniature Jersey farm, Rosewood Farm KC and Five Sisters Farms) operating out of both Kansas City (Lenexa, KS) and Central Missouri (Stockton/Boliver/Springfield/Joplin).

Cameon (Veterinarian) and Joe (long time rancher) oversee operations while our five daughters (the Five Sisters) raise all of the animals from day one to be gentle and well-socialized, setting the foundation for healthy companions ideal for small family farms and breeding programs.

We are excited about our expansion into miniature/midsize Highland/High Park cattle using some of the most sought-after genetics on the market that are carefully selected for confirmation and longevity. We offer mentorship and support every step of the way. When families aren’t able to make the trip to meet us, we work closely with a trusted professional shipper reaching families across the country, including Hawaii.

We’ve remained committed to one goal: improving genetics generation after generation.

We have also taken our love for animals, proven history of continually improving a breed and our passion for helping families find their next loving companion to 4H sheep, Nubian milk goats and our in-house family favorite - cavies (guinea pigs).
